An opportunity exists for a Physiotherapist in the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service, Goulburn Valley (VPRS-GV).
VPRS-GV is a specialist assessment and treatment service for children and adolescents who, as a result of injury, illness or functional impairment, will benefit from a developmentally appropriate, time-limited, goal-focused, multidisciplinary rehabilitation program.
The physiotherapist will work as part of the multidisciplinary VPRS team in providing high quality physiotherapy services to clients of VPRS-GV.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of paediatric physiotherapy practice in sub-acute and community settings, and be able to demonstrate the ability to provide a family centred service within a rural health setting.
The position is suitable for an experienced grade 2 physiotherapist, however, grade 1 clinicians with a minimum of 2 years' experience are encouraged to submit an expression of interest.
The successful applicant will have: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, Physiotherapy Board of Australia Demonstrated specialist expertise and skills in management of children and adolescents with acquired brain injury, musculoskeletal issues and dysfunction and congenital or developmental based conditions with functional impairment Demonstrated knowledge of paediatric rehabilitation principles and the importance of providing a Family Centred service Current driver's license If you are seeking full time employment, the role may be able to be combined with other vacancies, please contact the Regional Coordinator to discuss.
