An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Physiotherapist - Senior to join the Cancer Care Support Team within Care Care Services at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity: This position applies high level Physiotherapy knowledge, clinical skills and clinical expertise, leadership, consultation and professional supervision in the provision of cancer care services in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.The position requires a significant level of independence and personal accountability, including independent professional judgement in problem solving and clinical management, handling of a complex caseload beyond that of routine day to day clinical practice, without the need for direct regular clinical practice supervision.The position contributes to service development, education and research in the work unit.Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) From date of appointment until 22nd December 2024 with the possibility of extension.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $12,731 p.m., comprising salary between $4,769.60 - $5,132.40 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment until 22nd December 2024 with the possibility of extension).
