About the Role The position delivers advanced professional and strategic leadership and delivery of clinical pharmacy services to stakeholders/consumers within the Surgical Pharmacy Services at the Princess Alexandra Hospital to achieve excellence in patient care, education and research. Deliver advanced clinical and consultancy services to the following services: the surgical inpatient units, Day Surgery Transit Unit and other related services in accordance with accepted professional practices, legal and ethical requirements with a high degree of independence. Provide specialised/advanced clinical advice and direction to a team of senior, rotational and intern pharmacists to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes applying change management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills where necessary. Develop, monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes for the pharmacists and or service through the collection, analysis and reporting of relevant data, key performance indicators and outcome measures.
