Minda Allied Health has undergone significant growth in our Allied Health team, with newly upgraded consulting suites, purpose-built gym, team offices and upgrades to our pool and hydrotherapy services.
We want to hear from qualified Physiotherapists of any level of experience, who are enthusiastic about joining us to support people living with a disability (part-time or full time).
What you will do: Work with clients, and their supports and families to guide exercise programs, hydrotherapy, equipment prescription and functional assessments.
Undertake complex physiotherapy assessments, interventions, and therapies.
Respond to referrals and recommend specific therapy services for Minda clients.
Actively promote physiotherapy within the disability setting.
Complete documentation and reporting to comply with NDIS practice standards.
What you need for Success Qualifications in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA.
Experience providing disability Physiotherapy services, including complex physiotherapies and interventions.
Sound consultation skills to provide advice and recommendations for therapy services, and related training for prescribed equipment and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to relate to individuals with intellectual and other forms of disability, and their families, carers, and support staff.
Ability to provide support to a person with disability using a multi-disciplinary, and functional and collaborative approach.
