About the role: Come and join the GV Health Rural Allied Health Team (RAHT), a team with a well-renowned supportive workplace culture with an opportunity to work alongside experienced Physiotherapists.
Our multidisciplinary team includes Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work, and Speech Pathology services, supported by Allied Health Assistants.

In this role, you will work autonomously, undertake a varied and diverse workload, and provide interventions in predominantly home-based settings, making a true difference to our client's independence and well-being.
There is no nursing home work.
The Physiotherapist will provide person-centred care with an opportunity to:
Travel across the Goulburn Valley region working in home and clinic settingsWork with clients, carers, and families to provide practical solutions to promote independence and safety at homeAdvise on walking aids, strength, mobility, and balance and complete home exercise programsDeliver group programsDevelop goals and care plans to assist clients to remain at home and active in their local communityWork with a diverse range of clients and health conditionsParticipate in student training programsParticipate in service development and quality improvement initiativesA comprehensive orientation program is available, along with supervision and support opportunities.
We are looking for a Physiotherapist with:
Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) and eligibility for membership of a professional associationCurrent registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a PhysiotherapistKnowledge of the service system and ability to liaise and advocate across the full spectrum of health and community careExperience in the delivery of Physiotherapy services within home, group, and community settings to clients with complex presentations, inclusive of complex health conditions, memory impairment, cultural and diverse backgrounds.Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills, including computer literacy and the ability to produce well-written reports.Why work at GV Health?
