The Grade 2 Physiotherapist position is responsible for delivering high quality person-centred physiotherapy interventions within Dhelkaya Health. This will involve home, hospital, community or centre based service delivery, client education, and equipment prescription.
This role will work primarily in the Ambulatory Care team at the Community Rehabilitation Centre of the Castlemaine campus. This position will also be required to work at a range of other locations, including the Maldon campus, custodial services and other community settings.
This role works in close collaboration with a range of health professionals and other community-based service providers to deliver the best outcomes for the client, their family and carers. The Grade 2 PT also provides supervision to Grade 1 PT's, AHA's and students as required.
About you Displays high level communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrates understanding of how functional abilities and participation is impacted by chronic disease, ageing and cognitive, intellectual or physical disability Experience working across a range of PT clinical areas, particularly with older people Demonstrated experience in the supervision of physiotherapy students and junior physiotherapists Experience working as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team in delivering person-centred services Demonstrate Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing learning Experience in contributing to or managing service development and Quality improvement Ability to be flexible and to respond positively to change Please refer to the relevant attached position description and address the key selection criteria on your cover letter when applying.
