Your role at St John of God Ballarat Hospital We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate Physiotherapist (Grade 1) to join our friendly and dynamic Rehabilitation Unit.
As an integral part of the Allied Health Department, you will be responsible for providing a high quality physiotherapy service to our hospital inpatients.

The Position Provide high quality evidence based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable.
Using patient-centered care work with the patient to develop appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans for all patients/clients.
Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetings Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required.
Assist with education and training programs for students as requested To succeed you have experience in providing evidence based physiotherapy practices in clinical settings including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments, excellent verbal & written communication skills and able to work independently and within a team.
Successful applicants will be currently registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Post-graduate qualifications in the relevant area will be highly regarded.
