Location:  Queanbeyan, NSW  Employment Type:  Permanent   Employment Status:  Full-time   Salary Range:? $79,057 to $133,846 plus superannuation.
Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

St Gregory's Primary School is part of the Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn (CECG), which operates 56 Catholic Systemic Schools and nine Early Learning Centres  across ACT and NSW.

About the Role  As a Physical Education Teacher, you will join a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to fostering a love of fitness, teamwork, and overall well-being in our students.
By designing high-energy, engaging activities and incorporating a wide variety of physical challenges, you will inspire students to stay active, build confidence, and develop lifelong healthy habits.
Through regular, personalised assessments and constructive feedback, you'll guide each student in setting and reaching their own fitness goals, fostering a strong sense of achievement and resilience.
You'll work alongside supportive colleagues and actively engage with families to help create a school environment that prioritises physical, mental, and social well-being, making a meaningful difference in students' lives within a community that values holistic growth.

Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with colleagues, students, and parents.
The capacity to be a proactive member of a professional learning community complying with the legal, administrative, and professional requirements.
Classroom practices and organisational skills that create supportive and safe environments for all students, including meeting a variety of learning needs.
A comprehensive understanding of assessment and reporting strategies and the need to provide effective and timely feedback to parents and students.
