Physical Education Teacher

We are seeking a passionate Physical Education teacher to join our team and work with all students in our school. This position is a maternity leave replacement with the FTE 0.33 (this time fraction and grade levels will be confirmed with applicants at interview).
The successful applicant must have a commitment to the teaching and learning philosophy of Melbourne Archdiocese of Catholic Schools, be able to work collaboratively in a professional learning team and be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum in Physical Education.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and innovative educators who demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the physical development of students in their classes. The position is a fixed term, maternity leave replacement.
The successful applicant should display a willingness to be part of a school culture that encourages working together and understand the importance of providing each child with a personalized, rich learning journey.
Special Requirements:Experience in teaching Physical Education to students in all levels of primary schoolUnderstanding of Victorian Curriculum in Physical EducationPassion and competence in teaching Physical EducationAbility to embed understanding of the importance of Physical Education and living a healthy lifestyleHold current VIT registrationA commitment to Catholic EducationEvidence of further learning to support them in their role.Application Procedures:Applications should include a letter applying for the position, a current resume together with a completed application for employment including contact details of 3 referees.
