12-month contract with a view to extend | Based in South Melbourne | Hybrid Experience in building applications in PHP environments using Yii / Symfony/ Laravel Experience with Linux, Apache and frontend - HTML, CSS | AU Citizen Our client is looking for a PHP Developer who is experienced in building applications in PHP environments, using object orientated PHP and front-end frameworks especially in Yii/Symfony/Laravel.
Key Skills Required: Degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience in web development. Significant experience in building applications in PHP environments, using object orientated PHP and frameworks especially in Yii. Experience with Symfony or Laravel also acceptable. Experience with Linux, Apache, Docker and CI/CD pipelines. You should be familiar with code management practices and the use of GIT for source control, bug tracking and CI/CD. Experience with integration of payment gateways, such as Stripe (optional). An understanding of modern Agile software development methodologies and how to apply them to web development projects. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. You should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Highly developed organisational skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines. You should be able to plan, execute, test, document and deploy web applications.
