We are seeking a number of experienced Pharmacy Assistants to join our client who is aFederal Government Agency. The position would perfectly suit someone who has dispense experience in a hospital or community setting wanting to branch out into the public sector.
The Role and Responsibilities
You will be operating in a call centre environment answering queries and providing relevant information regarding the Australian Government's Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
You'll provide high quality customer service and timely advice for pharmaceutical issues, and liaising with a range of both internal and external stakeholders.
About You
Effective communication and the ability to build positive working relationships with relevant stakeholders will be critical to your success in this role.
In addition, you will demonstrate the following: Experience as a Dispense TechnicianA minimum Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent qualificationsA good understanding of the Australian Government Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)Ability to demonstrated sound judgment and ability to work in a fast paced environmentExcellent computer skills / the ability to learn new systemsDemonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and organisational skills.In return you will receive: A competitive hourly rate -$41 per hour+ super + penalty rates for afternoon / night / weekends4 – 5 week inductionOngoing training and developmentRequired to be available and flexible to work across a seven day roster.
