About the role A key focus of Viterra's work involves handling and maintaining the grain in our network and ensuring it meets end use customers' needs.

The important role of pest control planner, based out of our Port Lincoln office, is responsible for managing fumigation activities across western region sites.
It involves coordinating with employees to ensure our high grain hygiene standards are upheld and that we meet our customers' time frames for outturn.

As pest control planner you will manage multiple stakeholders and balance conflicting priorities.
The role involves visiting sites regularly, building relationships with employees and taking responsibility for our pest control activities.

Duties Work closely with all operations staff in the region, to understand shipping and road movements Develop and implement solutions and strategies to ensure effective pest control within the region Advise the region in the maintenance and effective commodity of hygiene practices Provide safe fumigation and pest control services within the region Maintain fumigation equipment and infrastructure to ensure it is in good working order Audit fumigation procedures for pest control and grain hygiene requirements Promote continuous improvement About you Previous experience within the grain industry or a bulk handling industry background Certificate III in Asset Maintenance – Pest Management or equivalent experience Experience in the use and application of chemicals to grain commodities and surface treatments or commercial application Ability to work in a high pressure environment and proactively manage stakeholders and conflicting priorities Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills Benefits By joining Viterra's operations, you can experience varied, active work where the day goes by quickly and less or no time at a desk.
