Natural Resources & Water (Mining, Resources & Energy) Currently seeking a talented Hydrologist to join their group, this Adelaide-based junior exploration and innovative new process technology business is steadily working towards an company-changing milestone.
Working closely with the senior geologist as well as the wider technology and management team, you will conduct studies and provide insights into water resources, hydrological cycles, and environmental impacts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrology, a keen analytical mind, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Conduct field studies and collect water samples to monitor and analyze hydrological data.
Develop and apply hydrological models to predict water flow, quality, and availability.
Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and policymakers to develop sustainable water management strategies.
Stay current with advancements in hydrology and incorporate new technologies into research practices.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hydrology, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
Proven experience in hydrological research, data analysis, and fieldwork.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to field sites as needed.
