You will be responsible for providing quality personal, social and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare's Values. You will play a crucial role in resident's overall wellbeing.
Your primary functions will be: Personal Care: Assisting with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident. Mobility support: Helping residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair. Monitoring health: Observing and reporting any changes in the resident's health or behavior. Meal Assist: Supporting residents with their dietary requirements ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating. Maintaining records: Keeping accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on eCase. Collaboration with healthcare professionals: Working in collaboration with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents. Skills & Experience Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent. Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn. Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
