Permanent part-time (30-40 hours) opportunities available across AdelaideMultiple positions availableMake a difference in the lives of our residents by promoting their independence and brightening their daysWho are we looking for?We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team. Using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will listen to stories, build relationships with our aged care residents and their families, and support residents to continue living their best life. You will provide personal care and support to our residents whilst ensuring their comfort and dignity is maintained at all times.
What can you expect to be doing?Support residents in one of our facilities by providing quality person-centred care, with wants and needs of the resident at the core of all of your actionsCollaborating with other staff to provide quality physical, emotional, wellness and clinical careBuild relationships with our aged care residents and their familiesEngaging and liaising with residents, their families and carers to improve their health, lifestyle and well-beingSharing professional knowledge with your teammatesWhat do you need to bring?Certificate III in either Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing)Demonstrated understanding of the physical, emotional and social needs of older peopleExcellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build meaningful relationships with customers and colleaguesCertificate of completion - SA Health's Understanding COVID-19 for Aged Care Workers (free online training)Current influenza vaccination and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)TGA approved Covid-19 vaccine including the booster shotNational Police Clearance (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people, 6 months or more remaining on clearance, please note NPC's are valid for 3 years)Who is AnglicareSA?As one of SA's largest social services provider, AnglicareSA makes a positive difference to the lives of more than 50,000 people each year.
