About the Role As a Personal care worker at Lutheran Homes you will report to the Care Manager, to provide assistance, support and direct care of the highest quality to consumers residing in the residential aged care facility.
Maintain an awareness of risks related to resident while providing personal care.
Monitor the resident's well-being and report any changes, such as pain levels, cognitive state, skin condition, resistance to care, aggression, or emotional, spiritual, and social concerns, to nursing staff.

About You You are determined to make a difference in the lives of our ageing residents and are passionate about helping them live their best lives.
Possess compassion and integrity as well as strong organisational and time management skills.
The ability to work with a diverse range of people, have strong communication skills (personal and written) and committed to working either afternoons or nights.
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months experience in acute or aged care.
Candidates may be subject to a pre-employment medical assessment with the successful candidate requiring current NDIS worker clearance.
In accordance with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are encouraged to have all recommended vaccinations.
