We are currently seeking passionate and caring individuals to join our team as Personal Care Workers on a permanent part-time basis. Our fixed fortnightly roster includes a commitment to at least one day per weekend with shifts available in either AM, PM, or night duty patterns. About the Role At Uniting AgeWell, Personal Care Workers deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to the individual needs of our residents.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide compassionate clinical and emotional support, recognising changes in residents' conditions and escalating concerns where necessary.
Key Responsibilities As a Personal Care Worker in our facility, you will:
Deliver personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance.Support residents with daily living tasks such as meal assistance and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.Monitor residents' physical, emotional, and behavioural well-being, promptly reporting any concerns.Encourage social engagement and assist with recreational and group activities.Provide care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, and pain management, to enhance their well-being.Support nursing staff with assessments, documentation, and evaluation of care outcomes.Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the environment, promptly addressing any issues.View the position description here:Personal Care Worker
