Working at our Bundaberg Aged Care Service, you will be assisting residents in daily living activities that meet their individual physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs.
In this varied role, your day-to-day tasks may include:
Participating in the development and review of resident/client care plans, including completing charting and reporting any observed changes of a resident's health to the Registered Nurse;Undertaking and completing a number of different tasks, as delegated by the Registered Nurse;Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of all residents, their representatives and staff, and ensuring that all interactions are treated confidentially;Support and assist in the provision of a comfortable, safe and secure environment.About You You are an empathetic, kind and caring person that is passionate about aged care. You are resident focused and enjoy taking the time to get to know the residents to provide the best possible care. As a positive individual, you are eager and willing to learn and support team members where you can.
Your experience and qualifications for this role ideally, should include:
Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (Qualified Applicants);Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including morning afternoons and nights across a 7-day week;Current National Police or the ability to obtain.Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Unconditional Love, Continual Innovation, Mutual Trust, Wise Stewardship and Safety.
