Your Role: Personal Bankers are directly responsible for proactively contributing to the growth of the region through needs-based member contact, timely and professional general advice, exceptional service delivery, and ongoing relationship management.
Personal Bankers will assume responsibility for the branch's Consumer Lending portfolio (Credit Cards and Personal Loans). They also identify and refer Home Lending opportunities to their local Lending Specialist, Mobile Banker, or Regional Member Experience Manager.
Additionally, Personal Bankers are responsible for New Memberships, Deposit Accounts, General Insurance, and referrals to the Retirement Product Specialist.
Personal Bankers undertake generalist branch activities (e.g., process counter transactions) that result in the achievement of performance targets across various measures including sales outcomes, portfolio growth, member experience satisfaction results, compliance, and service delivery.
Achieve growth targets with respect to: Referrals of home loan products to the mobile banker/lending specialistNew membershipsGeneral InsuranceRSA referralsDeposit growthProactively seek referrals from existing members and other relevant people/businessesService Proactively identify, build, and maintain referral networks in the Defence communityFulfilment of business development plans as agreed with ManagerCompletion of 30/60 day member follow-up callsTimely actioning of Connect Leads (Outbound calling program)Branch Operations As branches are small, Personal Bankers will actively contribute to day-to-day branch operations by undertaking:
Teller duties/completing cash transactionsAccount opening and closingAccount and member maintenance (e.g., updating personal information, card ordering, establishing periodical payments/pay splits/sweeps, etc.)Adhering to current policy, procedures, and legal requirementsCompleting tasks within agreed service levelsAbout You We're looking for bright minds, promoters of digital banking, and individuals with a strong level of numeracy to join our team.
