Perseus Mining is seeking a proactive and organised Programme Delivery Specialistto facilitate and lead the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud.
Reporting to the Group Manager Technology, you will work within a small and highly effective team of technical experts to oversee the successful transition to our new ERP system.
Your responsibilities will include comprehensive planning, team management, budgeting, communication, risk management, quality control, and employee training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with the Systems Integrator to adhere to the project scope.
Develop and manage detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget requirements.
Assign tasks according to team members' skills and expertise to ensure cohesive teamwork and effective collaboration.
Establish and monitor a comprehensive project budget to adhere to financial constraints.
Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, addressing concerns, and distributing detailed weekly reports on project metrics and risks.
Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to ensure project continuity.
Set clear quality standards, overseeing user acceptance testing, and ensuring the ERP system meets organisational needs.
Manage relationships with key vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure they fulfil their obligations and deliverables on time.
Contribute to the Steering Committee, facilitate decision-making, and follow up on actionable items.
Organise training sessions for employees and coordination of support after the system goes live.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong people management skills and excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate will:
Have at least 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on ERP systems preferred.
Possess two years of relevant experience in a similar position and previous experience managing a team.
Be proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Visio.
Demonstrate strong time management, documentation, and presentation skills.
It would be beneficial if you have:
SAP S/4 HANA experience Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

This position is based in Perseus's Subiaco office, with a corporate team of roughly 40 employees and growing.
You'll join a small corporate team, allowing for close interactions across all departments and levels of the business.
