Permit Coordinator Perth, CBD12 Month Casual ContractSupport compliance with relevant regulations, JOA and internal processes, provide skilled permit and schedule management in line with the company's strategies while achieving good relationships and alignments with all the stakeholders including government authorities, Joint Venture partners and the related company divisions in Perth and Tokyo.
Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment.Participate in HSE training and programs as required from time to time. Permit management with Government.Complying with the Regulations for Exploration Permits ("Permits") and Retention Leases ("Leases") and keeping to a schedule, provide permit management support in cooperation with Finance, Corporate Coordination, Legal and Government Approval Teams.Responsibly provide planning and coordination for: Preparation and submission of periodical reports including Annual Title Assessment Report and other reports in cooperation with the Subsurface Team.Fit for purpose and accurate applications of permit management actions including Suspension/Extension/Variation, Renewal, Acquisition/Surrender/KGO, DOSF, Site Plan and any other required approvals for Permits and Leases.Payment of license, applications, gazettal and other fees Permit management with Joint Venture Partners.Complying with the relevant Joint Operating Agreement by providing requisite permit management support.Support the preparation, submission and tracking of Work Program & Budget, Authorization for Expenditure and other requests for approvals in a timely manner.Support the Technical Committee Meetings, Operating Committee Meetings and Workshops.Support the department and JV budget management in cooperation with Finance Team.Complying with company internal approval processes for permit management and keeping to a schedule, provide skilled permit management in cooperation with all the stakeholders in Perth including Corporate Coordination, Asset Management and Drilling Teams.
Responsibly provide support for: Company internal approval processes including In-Principal Support, Circular Request and Operating Committee Resolution for Work Program & Budget, relevant applications for Permits and Leases and other approvals.Proactively update for all of Permits and Leases schedule with key milestones, potential risks and concerns.Maintain communications with all the stakeholders in the company to achieve good understandings and alignment.Skills and Experience requirements 5 years + experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry or exploration/development experience in a technical role.Excellent technical writing skills.Experience working with and influencing key stakeholders.Working knowledge of Australian OPGGSA and EPBC rules, regulations and NOPTA and NOPSEMA processes and of the Australian oil and gas sector.Good communication and presentation skills.Meeting organisation and facilitation.Highly computer literate, self-sufficient practitioner.Respect and understanding of other cultures.Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
