Nurse/Medical Educator - Permanent PositionJoin the team to provide expert advice and support in the Education Portfolio. You will ensure our education programs comply with strategic direction and policies while fostering learning by:
Incorporating evidence-based education principlesImplementing andragogical approaches to training and assessmentsThe ClientOur client is a not for profit, membership-based organisation leading the way in surgical performance, professionalism and patient care in Australia and New Zealand.
With service to members at the forefront of the business, our client supports ongoing learning and development for the surgical workforce of more than 7,000 surgeons and 1,300 surgical trainees and Specialist International Medical Graduates.
Key Responsibilities:Teach professional development courses for fellows, supervisors, and examinersEnhance facilitation skills and teaching qualityContribute to innovation and best practice in education, training, and assessment programsDevelop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAssist with AMC Accreditation compliance projectsEssential Qualifications and Skills:Masters of Health Education (MSc) or equivalentBackground in NursingExtensive experience in program design, delivery, and evaluationStrong facilitation skills for both face-to-face and online coursesHigh-level written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage concurrent projects and adapt to changing prioritiesDesirable: Experience in the design and evaluation of eLearning packagesAfter hours and weekend work will be a requirement of this position as will travel.
