The Department of Health is looking for a Perioperative Precinct Clerk to join the Surgical and Perioperative Services at Royal Hobart Hospital.

The Role: Provide a customer-focused telephone and general reception service to the Operating Theatre Precinct, communicating information in a timely manner to relevant persons. This includes responding to requests for information in accordance with the relevant legislation and Agency policies.
Provide a high standard of administrative and clerical support to the Operating Theatre Precinct, including the theatre Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) and relevant managers. This includes responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders, word processing, designing and maintaining spreadsheets and using various databases.
The Team: Surgical and Perioperative Services administrative teams engage in a wide range of duties and offer plenty of opportunity for professional development and growth. Our stream promotes a positive working environment and has been actively working towards embedding a problem-solving and can-do attitude culture. We are seeking applicants who have the ability to demonstrate initiative, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, multitasking skills, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. The successful applicant will primarily liaise with internal stakeholders such as executives and a wide range of hospital staff. Duties include, however, are not limited to:
Facilitating requests from theatre management staff.Utilising software such as iPM and DMR.Coordinating shared mailboxes.Details of appointment: Permanent part-time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 32 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Notwithstanding, hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $64,125 to $68,925 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
