You will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our People, Culture, and Safety functions, ensuring that our practices not only comply with industry standards but also set new benchmarks for excellence.Ensure Safety Excellence and Lead Strategic Initiatives:Set and uphold the highest standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, standards and best practices.Develop and implement strategies that align with business goals and promote a culture of safety, inclusivity and engagement.Lead and participate in HSE risk assessments and training programs.Uphold and enforce the highest safety standards.Lead initiatives to implement innovative solutions that drive organisational excellence.Influence Organisational Culture and Provide Expert Guidance:Act as a cultural ambassador, championing initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.Foster an environment where all employees feel valued and supported.Offer high-level advice and support to senior management and employees on HR, safety, and culture matters.Advocate for employee engagement, culture, and wellbeing.Develop and implement HR best practices, policies, and procedures.Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development.Identify opportunities for improvement in HR and safety practices.Manage all aspects of employee and industrial relations.Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in People, Safety & Culture.Implement programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with senior management.Provide financial forecasts, variance analysis, and performance reporting.The Requirements:Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications (minimum Cert IV) in Human Resources, Safety, or Leadership.Experience:In-depth knowledge of Australian Safety and HR legislative frameworks and practices.Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing Health and Safety systems, and providing best practice HS&E advice to managers and staff.Proven experience in managing Human Resource functions and teams, with a track record of achieving recruitment and retention targets.Experience in the mining or heavy earth-moving equipment industry is highly desirable.Skills:Strong knowledge of Health and Safety/Human Resources regulations and reporting standards.Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities with experience in team management, proactively taking accountability to deliver on organisational or departmental objectives.Unwavering ethical and professional behaviour, with a high level of integrity and humility.Detail-oriented and highly organised.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across the organisation.Professional resilience, adaptability to challenges and a commitment to continuous learning.The Benefits:A great team environment with regular catch-ups to foster strong professional relationships.Supportive management team that is hands-on and approachable.Competitive annualised salary plus superannuation.Annual personal and company performance bonuses.Wide range of salary-sacrificing and novated lease options.Business casual attire with uniform provided.Company laptop, phone and onsite parking.Inclusive and approachable team culture that recognises the value each team member brings.Apply Today!If you are interested in this exceptional opportunity, Apply Now!
