Management - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment) Full time As the People & Culture Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading all aspects of PSA's people strategy. You will oversee HR operations, employee engagement programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives, WHS compliance, and more. This role is based in Sydney or Canberra, working closely with the leadership team to ensure our people strategy aligns with PSA's vision and drives organisational success.

About the role Lead and manage the People & Culture team, delivering PSA's strategic people outcomes. Develop and implement employee engagement, diversity and inclusion programs. Design and implement PSA's Employee Value Proposition (EVP) focused on rewards, benefits, and recognition. Oversee recruitment, orientation, and induction processes to ensure smooth onboarding. Ensure compliance with employment laws and manage HR, WHS, and privacy audits. Facilitate leadership programs, including the OnePSA Leadership Academy. Oversee the delivery of WHS and workers' compensation programs, minimising risks and fostering a safe work environment. Manage change management processes, internal communications, and external partnerships. Lead environmental sustainability and climate reporting initiatives toward FY26 targets. About You You are a people-first leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for fostering inclusive, engaging, and high-performing workplace culture. With strong interpersonal skills, you excel at building relationships, driving change, and managing complex HR challenges with empathy and professionalism.
5 years' experience in similar HR roles, ideally within the not-for-profit or member-based sectors. Strong knowledge of employment laws, WHS, and industrial relations. Understanding of workforce planning, change management, and employee engagement strategies. Proven ability to lead diverse teams and implement HR best practices. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with high emotional intelligence. Experience managing partnerships with external providers and overseeing audits.
