Reporting to the General Manager of Housing & Support and with matrix reporting to the wider People & Culture team, the role will focus on partnering with people leaders in our NDIS Supported Independent Living and After Hours program to provide expert advice and aid teams to deliver on key people outcomes.
With an established background in generalist HR, the successful applicant will be responsible for delivering guidance and support in recruitment, workforce planning and structure, employee lifecycle management and administration, engagement, performance management and will be the first port of call for employee enquiries and workplace relations matters.
Role outcomes Act as first point of contact for delivery of entire suite of P&C services from talent attraction & sourcing to off-boarding Collaborate with unit heads to develop a localised and fit for purpose workforce strategy Interpret and leverage P&C reports to advise leaders on department and organization trends relevant to them and data insights Advise leaders and staff on interpreting industrial awards, EBAs and P&C policies and processes In conjunction with Workplace Relations team, support people leaders with management of workplace issues Partner closely with L&D and OD team to implement strategies to develop workforce capability, ensure appropriate training and development, implement performance management systems, develop career & succession plans and improve engagement and retention Maintain and monitor HRIS and other HR systems/records on a regular basis to ensure compliance and data accuracy Provide adhoc feedback and support to the Corporate P&C team for initiatives, policy reviews and continuous improvement Role benefits Hybrid work: mixture of WFH and in office NFP Salary Packaging - $15,900 p.a.
