People & Culture Business Partner

Are you an experienced People & Culture Business Partner with a strong generalist background and a passion for delivering strategic HR advice and solutions?
PSP are seeking a dedicated professional to join a regional council East of Melbourne for an initial 6-month contract, remote working on offer with requirement to be in office as needed!
Key Responsibilities
Partner with leaders to provide expert HR advice and guidance across a range of HR functions, including employee relations and industrial relations.
Support enterprise agreement negotiations, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices.
Manage complex employee relations issues, including performance management, grievances, and workplace investigations.
Contribute to workforce planning, change management, and the implementation of key People & Culture initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the broader People & Culture team to support organisational objectives and build strong working relationships across departments within Council.
About You:
Proven experience in a Business Partner role with a generalist HR background, including significant exposure to ER/IR.
Demonstrated experience in EA negotiations and the ability to navigate the complexities of local government agreements highly regarded.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work in-office as required and a willingness to collaborate closely with the team on-site.
