In this role, you will support the People & Culture team in executing a variety of generalist activities and delivering high-quality People & Culture services, within a specific portfolio.
You will play a crucial role in supporting People & Culture initiatives, with a focus on employee relations, talent acquisition and improving the employee experience.
This is a full-time, permanent position based across the Osborne Park and Perth CBD office.
Key responsibilities include: Support the full recruitment and selection process to ensure the acquisition of top talent, including advertising, interviewing and onboarding.
Provide expert guidance and support to Managers on Employee Relations and WHS matters.
Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Conduct entry and exit interviews and provide recommendations to enhance the onboarding experience.
Stay updated on employment and WHS legislation to ensure compliance.
Assist with training and development initiatives.
Develop, coordinate and drive CCIWA staff wellbeing initiatives.
Undertake HR administration activities such as actioning addendums, contracts of employment, training audits and payroll checking.
About You As a natural communicator, you will excel at building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organisation.
To be successful in this role, you will also have: Completion of a tertiary qualification in HR or related field 3+ years prior experience working in an advisory role Ability to work collaboratively and innovatively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge and experience using a HRIS and Payroll system Police Clearance Drivers Licence   About CCIWA CCIWA is an independent, not-for-profit, Member-based organisation that has been committed to advancing trade and commerce in WA for more than 130 years.
