We're seeking a People & Culture Advisor to join our small intimate team to help us cultivate an engaging, high-performing workplace culture. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your HR knowledge, administrative prowess, and creative flair to a dynamic role supporting a global tech company in games and entertainment with over 300 employees across Australia.
This role offers the unique opportunity to work autonomously while collaborating closely with the People & Culture team, supporting all aspects of the employee life cycle—from seamless onboarding and new staff inductions to maintaining HR records, coordinating events, and assisting with employee relations. Along the way, you'll have opportunities to add your unique touch to our people initiatives, including projects that celebrate our creative industry.
Operating within a globally dispersed business necessitates clear communication and occasional flexibility with work hours. Yet, this also presents opportunities to contribute to a diverse array of projects and initiatives, both locally and globally.
The Role: Be the first point of contact for employee queries, providing administrative support across the HR function. Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive experience for employees. Assist in managing performance reviews and employee relations matters with the guidance of senior HR leaders. Maintain HRIS data and compliance records with precision and efficiency. Partner with the team to deliver creative, engaging initiatives that enhance employee engagement and workplace culture. Support training and development programs, including scheduling and tracking participation. Independently manage your own portfolio of HR initiatives and projects. Bring fresh ideas to internal communications, events, and celebrations that reflect our industry's creative spirit. Our Ideal Candidate: Has 2-3+ years of experience in an HR admin or advisor role. Thrives on detail-oriented work while also enjoying opportunities to innovate. Is highly organised, adaptable, and ready to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates a solid understanding of Modern Awards, NES, and Australian Labour Laws. Builds strong relationships at all levels of the business and excels in clear, empathetic communication. Has a passion for working in a creative industry and contributing ideas that inspire and engage. What's in it for you? Competitive remuneration aligned with market standards. A full time opportunity with a hybrid work model (three days in our Melbourne offices - Fitzroy, Carlton and Box Hill). Wellness perks, including an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and wellness reimbursements. Flexible working arrangements to support your work-life balance. The chance to be part of a supportive, growing HR team where your creativity and contributions will truly make an impact. Ready to Apply?
If you're excited to make a meaningful impact in a creative, dynamic industry and are passionate about driving inclusion and supporting a diverse team, we'd love to hear from you! Join us as a People & Culture Advisor and help build a more inclusive, empowering workplace in the video games world.
