A current driver's licence, a roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance, valid NDIS Worker Clearance, valid Working With Children Check, First Aid, and CPR certificate.
Those with a certificate or experience supporting people with a disability are highly regarded.
Tasks & Responsibilities: Deliver client-centred support including promoting client independence and a strengths-based approach to developing skills and abilities.
Assist with activities of daily living and domestic activities.
Work within the NDIS Code of Conduct and in accordance with care plans and NDIS goals.
Ensure privacy and confidentiality principles are always maintained.
Maintain professional relationships with participants and their families and stakeholders.
Assist in the development of independence, leading to increased choice and control, providing positive, respectful, and dedicated support.
Adopt a problem-solving mindset to support clients with their mental health wellbeing.
