People Business Partner 12 month fixed term opportunity with well-established People team in a forward-thinking and innovative business in the energy sector Support a local stakeholder group in a global and growth-oriented business 12 month fixed term opportunity supporting the MD and Leadership team $160k (incl super), immediate start The Opportunity Our client is one of Australia's leading independent power organisations and a global player in the energy market and is seeking an experienced People Partner to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team on a 12-month, fixed-term basis.
As a People Partner, you will play a critical role in driving the People agenda, fostering a positive work culture, and delivering HR solutions that align with business objectives.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with senior leaders, support workforce growth, and drive impactful people projects within a globally connected yet locally autonomous environment.
The Role Reporting to the Head of People Partnering, you will join an established People Partnering team within a CoE model, supporting a local stakeholder group in a full remit of generalist activity whilst driving key outcomes aligned to global and national people and business objectives.
Collaborate with senior leaders, including the Managing Director of this specific stakeholder group and their respective leadership team, in the oversight and planning of day-to-day and long-term outcomes aligned to their people strategy.
You'll be integral in supporting leaders' growth, identifying key workforce trends, and contributing to innovative HR initiatives that drive the company's ambitious vision for a low-carbon future.
About You You are an experienced HR generalist who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
You will have a strong background in HR business partnership and be comfortable both with high-level strategic initiatives and hands-on tasks.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage complexity and build effective relationships across diverse teams.
An understanding of change management, compliance, and data-driven decision-making will be important.

This is hybrid working environment where you'll have the opportunity to work at home up to two days/week.
