JOB PURPOSE:DEPT Australia is looking for a talented People & Experience Manager to join the team on a part-time, fixed-term basis (maternity leave cover). Reporting directly to, and working closely with the SVP of People - APAC, you will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of our People experience here at DEPT Australia. This part-time, fixed-term contract will commence in January 2025 and run for approximately 10 months. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Working closely with, and coaching a team of dedicated leaders who are genuinely passionate about their people. Managing our People Operations, culture, and ways of working. Communicating and rolling out global People initiatives and projects. Coordinating and managing Talent Acquisition where necessary. Working collaboratively with the Office Manager, Finance, IT, and Support Teams on various aspects of our People experience. Getting your hands dirty with anything else that may pop up in our dynamic environment! ABOUT YOU: You are an experienced People and Culture Manager who is excited by working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. You are passionate about building strong relationships with Managers at different levels of leadership experience and coaching them to be their best. You enjoy the flow of operational work but can change tack quickly and work on strategic initiatives. You have a strong knowledge of Australian employment laws, employee relations, and health and safety legislation. Some knowledge/oversight of Australian payroll will also be highly regarded. You enjoy variety in the end-to-end people experience. You are seeking a role that is around 20-25 hours per week. We think this is best done across 3-4 days, but let's chat! THE PERKS!
