The Role:
Reporting directly to the Executive Manager of People & Culture, you will lead a small team with two direct reports and work closely alongside the HR Business Partner. Key responsibilities include:
Driving senior recruitment initiatives in collaboration with the HR Business Partner and other internal stakeholders.
Ensuring all processes align with employment legislation, relevant awards, and organisational policies.
Working hand-in-hand with the payroll team to maintain data integrity and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
Managing workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
Chairing the WHS committee to champion safety initiatives across the organisation.
Salary circa $110k plus.
About You:
Degree or diploma in HR or related field; strong knowledge of modern awards, the Fair Work Act, employment legislation, and understanding of Victorian OH&S regulations.
Advanced skills in back-office administration and managing HRIS management, as well as proven experience in process improvement.
Natural ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven experience in reporting and records management is essential.
Broad understanding of payroll administration.
Prior leadership experience would be desirable but not essential.
Passionate, approachable and committed individual with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
Current WWCC and Police Check required.
End-to-end recruitment experience is essential.
