About the position:The People and Culture Manager at Annie North leads the organisation's people strategy, focusing on recruitment, staff development, employee well-being, and cultivating a positive workplace environment.
The People and Culture Manager is a key member of the Executive Management Team (EMT) and works closely with the CEO to lead and drive Annie North's people strategy.
This role is more than just compliance – it's about creating a workplace where staff feel supported, valued, and empowered to excel.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with the Executive Management Team (EMT) to drive leadership and strategy development.Fostering a performance-oriented culture whilst aligning the workforce with Annie North's goals, with a strong focus on advancing diversity and inclusion.Leading initiatives and communicating with staff on workplace culture, engagement, and wellbeing.Enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and morale, focusing on recognition, surveys, and team-building.Managing the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and exits, as well as conducting workplace investigations.Overseeing and implementing HR policy development to ensure compliance and best practices, particularly around staff conduct, performance, and wellbeing initiatives.Monitoring and reporting on workplace health and safety (WH&S), culture, and wellbeing metrics, with regular updates to the CEO.Managing learning and development programs, and performance management aligned with organisational goals, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and regulations, and providing advice on complex HR matters.Assisting with general administration tasks such as participating in team meetings, advising the CEO and EMT on HR issues, strategy and risk, and assisting with HR budgets and resource allocation.Annie North strives to be a family-friendly workplace offering generous conditions through the Enterprise Agreement.
