People and Capability (HR) Business Partner About the Company:
Our client is a Government Organisation located in East Gippsland and is one of the largest employers in the region, with a diverse workforce who are based throughout the area. The organisation provides important services to the community and its members, working hard to ensure they are continuously improving their diverse range of services for the betterment of the community and its members.
About the Role:
This is a great opportunity to step into a well-established, dynamic team within a Gippsland-based organisation with a diverse workforce spanning both white and blue-collar roles. You'll partner closely with leaders at all levels, providing hands-on HR support, guiding key projects, and getting involved in areas like enterprise bargaining and facilitating site drug and alcohol testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong, trusted partnerships with leaders and stakeholders to deliver expert HR and ER advice. Promote and support a positive organisational culture in alignment with policies, processes, and legislation. Provide timely, practical solutions to employee and operational challenges, helping their managers succeed. Essential Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related field and or significant relevant experience in a HR business partnering or HR generalist position in a diverse organisation. Previous generalist experience across a variety of HR functions desirable. Competent in the use of the Microsoft suite of products, and specialised computer software programs relevant to Human Resources services. A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development. Advanced communication and influencing skills. The role is open to candidates either based in Gippsland who can work both in the office and from home or we would consider fully remote candidates with the right skillset, who are willing to travel on a need's basis to East Gippsland. The casual hourly rate salary range relevant to experience is $56-61 per hour.
