Key Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for employees and provide advice on HR policies, processes, and procedures when they are unable to self-serve.Respond to tier 1 HR inquiries via a ticketing system (Salesforce and Veridian), ensuring timely and accurate resolution.Manage the phone support rotation (9:30 am - 3:00 pm) with your team.Support the team with HR system (Workday) updates, including changes and improvements to processes.Coach and educate employees on how to use self-service tools (Workday and internal hubs).Escalate complex matters to relevant HR teams and collaborate with P&C stakeholders as needed.Manage employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, offboarding, contract management, and background checks.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance employee experience and promote self-service.Key Qualifications & Experience: 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, with strong knowledge of Victorian employment law and Fair Work.High attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills.Experience with HRIS, especially Workday, is highly preferred.Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize competing tasks and work to service level agreements.Benefits: $400 per day inclusive of super.Hybrid work model (50% in-office, with an anchor day on Thursdays).Contract role until the end of March 2024.If this sounds interesting or you would like to hear more, please apply online with your CV, including a cover letter.
