About You
We are seeking a highly motivated HSE Advisor to support our growing Newcastle team. In this role, you will be pivotal in upholding Pensar's commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) excellence. You will provide essential support, advice, and guidance to project stakeholders, ensuring compliance with all relevant HSE requirements, plans, and procedures.
What You Need
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the Utility, Construction, or Infrastructure industry (power/electrical experience preferred) Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) Promote a culture of safety: Empower project personnel to proactively identify and mitigate risks, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone feels comfortable reporting incidents and hazards. Leadership and Management: Instil Pensar's core values throughout the project lifecycle, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities. Project Support: Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on safety requirements, ensuring compliance with legislative and best practice standards. Incident Management: Support the investigation of all incidents and near misses, advocating for fair and respectful treatment of all involved parties. Training and Development: Deliver internal training programs on HSE procedures and ensure effective implementation of controls through auditing activities. Site Engagement: Actively participate in project pre-starts, toolbox talks, and relevant meetings, fostering open communication on safety matters. Subcontractor Management: Monitor subcontractor safety performance, ensuring adherence to Pensar's safety policies and procedures. Working with Pensar
