Job Description Australia's highly respected food brand, Good Food, is looking for an energetic Good Food App Editorial Assistant to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a proven news instinct and an interest in Australia's food scene.
Working with the App Editor and Head of Good Food, you'll be responsible for helping deliver the Good Food app strategy, and growing its audience with innovative content that builds a loyal community.
Day to day you will:
Work closely with the App Editor to ensure a smooth production cycle. Maintain consistent quality control of all editorial content. Produce stories for the app and work to ensure the tone and balance of content is appropriate and targeted. Attend weekly editorial meetings. Source photos and commission photography. Qualifications You'll have a knack for storytelling that builds audience engagement, and a passion for words and optimising stories for digital readers. You'll be someone who loves the small details, and has strong writing and editing skills. You will be a team player with demonstrable skills in collaborating in small teams to get the job done, and bring agile thinking, initiative and a can-do attitude to every day.
