The Opportunity:
As a Senior Waitperson you will ensure your shift is organised and runs efficiently. You will lead by example and deliver exceptional guest service and assist the Leader as required.
Your day to day:
• Ensure your team are following the correct processes and procedures and providing top quality service during their shift.
• Mentor, develop and train F&B Waitstaff.
• Operate cash registers, conduct end of day cash-up and monitor accurate cash handling procedures within your team.
• Apply and monitor food safety procedures and ensure your team display a high standard of cleanliness in the work area.
• Report any issues that may affect operations immediately to your Leader/Supervisor.
• Ensure your work environment is well presented at all times, including displays, signage and front of house areas.
• Maintain correct stock levels.
• Handle guest complaints quickly and effectively.
What you'll bring to the role:
• Effective communication, delegation and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Food safety and SAP knowledge.
• Fully available to work breakfast and dinner shifts as well as special events.
