THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the highly experienced Group Payroll Manager, the Payroll Team Leader will assume responsibility for a high-performing team of seven Payroll Officers who process payrolls for around 6000+ employees. It is a largely self-sufficient team with multiple long-tenured members. You will have a small portfolio to process yourself but a major priority of the role is to ensure that the Payroll team operates smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Other areas of focus for this role include but are not limited to the below:
Process Improvement & Service Delivery
Contributing to ongoing projects
Ensuring Customer Service KPIs are met
Training of new Team Members
Acting as a point of escalation for complex queries
Payroll reporting, and auditing employee master file data
