Payroll Team Lead

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Team Lead to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide leadership and direction to the Payroll Partners, ensuring an efficient and accurate payroll service in line with governance and compliance requirements. The successful candidate will have the chance to work collaboratively with various teams, contribute to business continuity planning, and drive change and innovation across payroll processing.
What you'll do:
Provide effective leadership to ensure a highly motivated and productive team Support the Head of Payroll in managing end-to-end payroll service delivery Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay cycles Identify ways of effectively delivering services, initiatives, communications, and risk management plans Work with the Payroll team to identify operational improvement initiatives Provide ad hoc reports to stakeholders as required What you bring:
Minimum of 5+ years End to End payroll processing experience Proven experience in a leadership role within a customer service environment Demonstrated experience working within Kronos/Dimensions (UKG), ServiceNow SuccessFactors systems Advanced proficiency in use of Excel High attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately Strong communicator with the ability to influence and liaise with people from all functions across the business Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
