GM3 is an emerging Australian metallurgical coal mining entity owned by global investment entity Golden Energy and Resources (GEAR) and M Resources, a market leader in metallurgical coal industry services.

Illawarra Metallurgical Coal (IMC) produces premium quality, hard coking coal for steelmaking, which is transported within Australia and around the world. We operate two underground metallurgical coal mines, two preparation plants and a logistics chain.

As the Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for providing essential payroll services, technical support, and reporting support to GM3 teams, ensuring smooth and accurate payroll processing.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: Assist in the implementation and optimisation of SAP and SuccessFactors as the end-to-end Payroll system Ensure accurate and timely payroll preparation, reconciliation, and execution for all employees Foster strong relationships across HR, GM3 sites, and external partners to meet deadlines and deliverables Provide technical and reporting support to the Manager Payroll and wider teams ABOUT YOU Strong knowledge of Australian payroll laws and legislation Proficiency in payroll systems (SAP preferred) Ability to analyse payroll data and resolve discrepancies effectively Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities Clear communicator and collaborator with excellent organisational skills Qualifications for this position are:
