Identifying, supporting, and encouraging leadership and innovation, AAL is a proven leader.About the role:Adelaide Airport is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Payroll Specialist to join their Finance Department. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team, gaining exposure to various finance operations such as budgeting, financial reporting, and process improvements. The role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation, reconciliation, and execution of payroll for all employees and Board members. This role also includes streamlining and automating payroll processes, working with teams to implement system improvements, and developing efficient job costing techniques.What you will do:As a Payroll Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely preparation, reconciliation, and execution of payroll for all employees in conjunction with:Ensuring accurate and timely preparation, reconciliation, and processing of payrollStreamlining and automating payroll processes as part of a project teamPreparing and managing end-of-year financial reportingEnsuring compliance with ATO requirements such as Single Touch PayrollMaintaining and updating the payroll systemSuperannuation calculations and timely reconciliation and remittance of fundsProcessing payroll deductions, PAYG, ReturnToWorkSA, and Payroll Tax returns in compliance with deadlinesWhat you bring:The ideal candidate brings a wealth of experience in end-to-end payroll processing. You have a proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to handle complex financial tasks with precision.
