The Opportunity

Great role for someone who is an enthusiastic and adaptable Payroll/Rostering Officer to join our team and dive straight into a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this temporary role, you'll be managing payroll and rostering for a 24/7 operational team of 300 FTE, using a biometric time sheeting system. This position also involves a mix of administration and staffing tasks.

Key Responsibilities: Processing payroll via biometric time sheeting (this will be taught)Managing 24/7 rosters for 300 FTEGeneral administration and staffing coordinationThere will be no compulsory holiday shutdown, meaning work will continue through the holiday period, excluding Christmas Day and New Year's Day. This position requires availability to work during these times to support their team's 24/7 operations.About You A Valid Blue Card is requiredExperience in Rostering and Scheduling large scale teams ideally for 24/7 operational teams.Familiarity with rostering software and tools to optimize schedules efficiently, covering shifts, accounting for leave, and balancing workforce requirements.Skills in managing last-minute changes and ensuring adequate staffing levels across shifts.Problem-Solving & Decision-Making AbilitiesProactive Team PlayerAdministration Proficiency and Attention to DetailPayroll Processing SkillsUnderstanding of payroll regulations, award rates, overtime, penalties, and shift allowances for accurate payroll calculations.Ability to manage high-volume payroll with attention to detail to prevent errors and ensure timely payments.To Apply
