Job Description Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Officer: Payroll Processing: Accurately calculate and process wages for over 2,000 employees bi-weekly, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions, ensuring timely payments.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team to achieve payroll objectives.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, company policies, and internal procedures.
Record Maintenance: Update and maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, tax details, and bank account information.
Reporting: Generate and review payroll reports for accuracy and prepare documentation for audits.
Issue Resolution: Resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies, including making necessary adjustments and corrections.
The Successful Applicant Successful Candidate: Common Sense: Applies practical judgement and logical thinking to resolve issues effectively.
Basic Payroll Knowledge: Possesses a foundational understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
Good Computer Skills: Proficient with computer systems and software, essential for managing payroll tasks.
Organised: Demonstrates strong organisational skills to manage records and tasks efficiently.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and actively listen to feedback for continuous improvement.
What's on Offer What's on Offer for the Candidate: In-Office Role: This position is based on-site with no work-from-home options.
Standard office hours from 7 AM to 3 PM, with extended hours (7 AM to 4 PM) on two days during the pay week, and early finish at 1 PM on Fridays.
