About the role and the team:

The Payroll Officer is accountable to the Operational Team Leader, Health Team 2, and Payroll Services. You will be responsible for processing fortnightly payroll.

The Payroll Officer will: Work effectively as an individual and a member of the team to meet deadlines, identify and deal with problems.Deal with complex queries.Process pay files and facilitate the processing of pay related processes, such as system changes.Develop a variety of payroll skills, such as fortnightly master data entry, timesheet coding, and leave application processing.Work towards daily targets and actively contribute to achieve team goals.Communicate effectively with both internal staff members and external agency employees and clients. Requirements: Payroll knowledge.Proficient numeracy skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).Quick learner.Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
All temporary contractors must have a valid Police Clearance check and provide a copy at the interview stage.
