The role We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our supportive team in a full time permanent position.
As a Payroll Officer, you will be part of a team responsible for the accurate and timely end-to-end processing of the Adbri employee pays.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager; you will apply your skills and experience to streamline existing procedures, contribute to efficient reporting, and accurately pay our people utilising the Chris21 environment.
The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate advanced skills in payroll and in return, we will offer an attractive salary with opportunities for development with a successful ASX listed Australian business. Adbri offers flexible work arrangements where possible to employees; with a Hybrid approach to work from home and offices in Pirie St, Adelaide CBD.
Responsibilities Payroll processing and reconciliations for multiple runs per monthComplete ownership of a group of complex pay runs which impacts multiple businessesWorking collaboratively with HR business partners and multiple internal stakeholdersIdentify process improvement and streamlining opportunities for implementationInterpretation of awards and enterprise agreementsWhat you will need to succeed Minimum 3 years' experience processing multiple end to end pay runsExperience using Chris 21 desirable, but not essentialProven capacity for continuous improvement and implementing changeDemonstrated success in balancing the discipline and methodical routine of payroll with the versatility of keeping up to date with contemporary payroll practicesFull Australian driver's license and access to personal transportation is advantageous for this roleOur business Adbri Limited is a constructions materials and industrial minerals manufacturing company that has been building a better Australia since 1882.
