About the Role You will be part of an established team with two senior members of staff.
You will be expected to have prior experience processing end to end pay runs.
Prepare and process manual payments such as terminations, adjustments, and redundancy payouts.
Process payroll accurately from start to finish for approximately 500+ employees across eight payroll entities and six pay cycles, including data collection and award interpretation as needed.
Support the Payroll Leader in end-of-month tasks, including superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, and monthly reporting.
Maintain and update company databases to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll and accounts data.
Manage employee records, entitlements, and employment contract changes within the system.
Act as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, delivering exceptional customer service.
About the Candidate Meticulous attention to detail: A strong focus on accuracy and an efficient work ethic are key.
Extensive experience: A minimum of 5+ years in payroll processing and/or payroll administration is required.
End-to-end payroll expertise: Practical experience managing all aspects of payroll is essential (familiarity with MYOB Pay Global is beneficial but not required).
Employment legislation knowledge: Proficiency in interpreting awards, the National Employment Standards (NES), and other relevant employment laws.
Technical proficiency: Intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.
