Permanent Payroll Officer job opportunity with a fast-growing Australian business located in Melbourne's Eastern SuburbsOur client is a well-known organisation based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs, they are seeking a experienced Payroll Officer to join their high performing Payroll services team on a permanent basis.Key responsibilities:Ensuring all Time and Attendance data, payroll changes, records and other related material is received prior to close of the payroll run and actioned accordinglyEnsure the completion of all key weekly payroll functions and procedures, not limited to the end-to-end payroll process, terminations, adjustments, and classifications changes In line with the deadlines for each task.Provide the Payroll Manager with regular updates on relevant payroll issuesEnsure that key payroll functions comply with the EA, relevant statutory and legislative requirements including timely processing of PAYG, Superannuation and any other Statutory paymentsProcess Off Cycle Payments when requiredAdministration for all payroll enquiries and maintenance of the Payroll Inbox to ensure payroll queries and issues are resolved within Service timeframesParticipate in weekly Payroll Review MeetingsMaintain personal competence in using the payroll system through internal and external trainingTreat all payroll related activities in strictest confidenceProvide advice, assistance and support with key payroll processes and activitiesReview and update Payroll Process and Procedure notes on a regular basisIn conjunction with the Payroll Manager assist with the implementation of strategies to ensure alignment with the Business PlanComply with relevant Statutory Reporting obligationsWhat we are looking for:2 + years experience as a Payroll OfficerDemonstrated commitment to customer serviceGood interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationshipsExperience in identifying and implementing service improvementsAbility to prioritise and manage expectationsProblem Solving ability.High level of accuracy.Attention to detail.Work independently.Analytical.ProactiveWhat you will get:Great remunerationOpen door and inclusive cultureHybrid working arrangement - 3 days from home / 2 days in the officeNetworking and social eventsImmediate start available for the right candidatePlease APPLY immediately or send your CV at ******.
