The Opportunity The Payroll Officer will have a key role within the HR Operations team, ensuring the efficient and accurate running of the fortnightly payrolls as well as administering and maintaining the payroll system and responding to employee queries with support and supervision.
Key Responsibilities Ensure the efficient and accurate running of the fortnightly payrolls Run associated reports and complete calculations Maintain and administer the payroll system (iChris & EmpLive).
Respond to enquiries and helpdesk in a timely manner About You Join our dynamic team and bring your significant payroll expertise to the forefront!
We're seeking a candidate with experience in a large organisation, who has a strong understanding of award interpretation and end-to-end payroll processes.
Familiarity with SGC legislation and the ability to interpret timesheets against Enterprise Agreements is essential.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, including working well within a team and the ability to network and build relationships with stakeholders and other regions.
Experience with iChris is highly desirable, with additional experience in programs such as EmpLive advantageous!
Overall you will have a genuine desire to support our employees so they in turn, can provide the best outcomes for the children and young people that Berry Street supports.
